I'm an artist and a photographer where my work is original and one-of-a-kind that can say more than a thousand words. I started drawing when I was young and continue pursuing it through middle and high school. I got into photography after I graduated from high school to pursue a different perspective and improvement in art altogether. To this day I kept practicing and improving the style of my work! I am very artistic and creative with my work. I do all sorts of drawings and hopefully paintings but most are originals. I mostly use pencil, charcoal, colored chalk, pastel, and pen for my drawings. Jan Faulkner Leather Artist is a designer of high end leather and suede fashions. Custom made and sold. This includes clothing items for Rodeo Queens and entertainment performers as well as private customers.

I design,, sew, dye, sculpt, work with wood, bend metal... Simply stated, I create. I love to share my work- the projects Im working on and sometimes, my process. I do it for fun, and I do it for gifts, and I do it by request. But mostly I do it because I have to do it- its my passion. Its how I breathe, and think and how I roll... I work with everything and anything- if it intrigues me, pulls me in, grabs my eye, piques my curiosity, or is presented as an opportunity. I have to try new mediums- and techniques. And I love to say I wonder what would happen if I ......? Or how can I do that using what I have? I welcome challenges. Tell me what youre looking for or a style you like- or an idea you have. I use earth friendly practices in my studio. I conserve, preserve, re use and repurpose. Color is eye candy and nature, my inspiration.
