Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:21 (KJV)
“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”
Beloved, we must understand that just because a pastor, preacher, television program, or radio broadcast says something does not automatically make it the truth of God. A person may speak confidently, have many followers, or appear religious, yet still teach something contrary to the Word of God.
The authority of truth is not found in a man's popularity, eloquence, or reputation. The final standard for testing what is taught must be the Word of God.
1. Test every teaching by the Scriptures
Acts 17:11 (KJV) says:
“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
The Bereans did not blindly accept what they heard, even when it came from the apostle Paul. They searched the Scriptures to examine the message. Likewise, Christians must not believe every teaching simply because it comes from someone who claims to speak for God.
Do not reject a message merely because you dislike the messenger, and do not accept it merely because you admire the preacher. Open your Bible and examine what is being taught.
2. Beware of false teachers
Matthew 7:15 (KJV) warns:
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
Not everyone who speaks about God faithfully represents God's truth. Some may mix biblical words with false doctrines, human traditions, or personal opinions. Therefore, we must exercise spiritual discernment.
A preacher's title does not guarantee that everything he says is biblical. Test his teaching against the Scriptures, considering the context of the passage rather than twisting a verse to support a personal opinion.
3. Never place man's words above God's Word
Mark 7:7–8 (KJV) says:
“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men…”
When human traditions contradict God's commandments, we must stand with God's Word. We must never elevate a famous preacher, a religious organization, or a popular opinion above the authority of Scripture.
Remember, beloved, a message does not become biblical simply because it is repeated by thousands of people. Neither does a lie become truth because it is spoken from a pulpit.
4. Let God's Word be your foundation
John 17:17 (KJV) declares:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
God's Word is our foundation. Feelings can mislead us, opinions can change, and popular teachings can come and go, but we must remain grounded in the truth of Scripture.
This does not mean we should become proud, argumentative, or suspicious of everyone. Rather, we must be humble enough to receive correction, diligent enough to study the Bible, and courageous enough to reject teachings that contradict it.
Final exhortation:
Christian, do not let a preacher do all your studying for you. Read your Bible. Examine the context. Pray for wisdom. Test every doctrine by the Scriptures.
Whether the message comes from a pastor, television, radio, social media, or a friend, ask yourself: Does this agree with the Word of God?
Our responsibility is not to follow men blindly but to follow the Lord faithfully. Respect faithful ministers, but never treat any human being as incapable of error. Let Christ be your Lord and let His Word guide your faith.
Always check your Bible—not to prove your own opinions right, but to discover what God has truly said.
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV):
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
May we be Christians who do not merely hear the truth, but search it, understand it, obey it, and stand firm in it. Amen.

In the eleventh chapter of Revelation, the Apostle John describes a public spectacle that will become the most watched event in the history of planet earth. The two witnesses, after prophesying for one thousand two hundred and sixty days with the fire of divine authority proceeding from their mouths, will finish their testimony. In that hour, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and finally kill them in the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
Their bodies will lie in the open streets of Jerusalem for three and a half days. The text declares that peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies, and the inhabitants of the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because the two prophets had tormented them with the Word of God. In the age of satellite television, global streaming, and worldwide instant media, this prophecy no longer requires any theological stretch. The entire planet will watch the broadcast of their dead bodies in real time, exactly as John described two thousand years ago on the island of Patmos.
Then suddenly, in front of every living camera, every news anchor, and every mocking spectator, the breath of life from God will enter the two witnesses. They will stand upon their feet, and great fear will fall on those who see them. A great voice from heaven will say, "Come up here." And the two witnesses will ascend to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies watch in open-mouthed terror. In the same hour there will be a great earthquake, a tenth of the city will fall, seven thousand people will perish, and the rest will be afraid and give glory to the God of heaven.
Beloved, hear the Spirit today. The world may silence the voices of the Lord for a season. The messengers of truth may seem overcome. The gospel may appear to be ridiculed and buried. But the breath of God always has the final word. What the enemies of the Kingdom declare dead, the Lord resurrects in public view. Never bury the vision God has given you based on what the enemy is celebrating today. The breath of resurrection is on its way, and heaven itself will call it forth before the eyes of every mocker.

When we read the WHOLE chapter of Daniel 9 it's quite evident that the True Messiah, Yahshua Christ Jesus is CUT OFF, not by himself or Christianity but by a false entity that comes in to DESTROY the SANCTUARY by means of a Flood. (V.26)
Now who destroys with a Flood, i.e. Flood of Lies, false doctrine leading up to and including the Tribulation of Satan, the Prophetic 7 Year Week (Daniel 9) that became the 5 Month Hour (Matt 24; Rev 9)? WHAT THE WHAT? Yahshua Christ Jesus does NOT come to cutoff himself!!

1¶My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,

The Bible teaches that the Lord warns people before judgment comes. Jesus said, “And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch” (Mark 13:37 KJV). The signs mentioned—wars, earthquakes, famines, pestilences, false prophets, and increasing lawlessness—are all things Christ foretold would characterize the last days (Matthew 24 KJV).
Yet the greatest message is not fear, but mercy. God is still extending His hand to sinners just as the image portrays. The Lord is “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9 KJV). While many ignore God's warnings, today is still a day of grace.
The verse declares, “Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV). Tomorrow is not promised. Every person must decide what they will do with Jesus Christ. Salvation is found not in self-imposed religion, good works, or human effort, but through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
If God is warning the world, then the wise response is to repent, believe the gospel, and live for Him. When Christ returns, it will be too late to prepare. Therefore, seek the Lord today, turn from sin, and be reconciled to God while His invitation of grace remains open.
