A calendar of events for 19th century (1840-1900) American old west. We are searching out places to go in our Old West attire. If you know of events in your area, or you know people who would like to join this group, please contribute with dates, times, and places for events in your area. There is a similar group on Facebook that has a large following, but since those people are not about to leave Facebook, I decided I should start a group here. Thank you for your support!

As many of us are Facebook refugees, we have come to Wimkin to celebrate freedom of speech. Recently, a group under the same name as this group was removed from Facebook for "spreading false information about the coronavirus vaccine." The information being posted was, and is, TRUTH! I invite you to share news reports of bad reactions, sickness, or deaths from the vaccine. People have a right to know what they are receiving when they get the vaccine. The government, the tech giants, and the mainstream media are trying to keep us in the dark, so PLEASE use this group to spread the word!

M.O.P.S. is dedicated to those pirates who want to attend events and enjoy the company of other pirates without the necessity of belonging to a "crew", "guild" or some other formalized group. Here at M.O.P.S. we are all independents. Feel free to promote yourself to captain because we are ALL captains here! Nobody has to answer to anyone but themselves. Our attendance at events is totally unstructured and non-mandatory. Go when you want and with whom you want. We try to communicate with each other so we can share the time at the events, but it is non-compulsory. The most important thing is that in our group, you can be yourself without any reservations. So for those who are just joining this "non-crew", we welcome you and hope that you invite others to join. We do not recruit, but we do not turn people away either! Our motto: Fiercely independent, OWNED BY NONE!
