Before you come to Georgia to visit you must be aware of what is happening here!!! There's a housing shortage, rent has tripled, and folks are vacationing here in record numbers...
So if you plan on moving here, or just plan on vacationing in our woods, river bottoms, or lakes this summer, I think you should know that wolf spiders, fire ants and bedbugs have infested hotels and motels across the area due to dryer than usual weather. The woods will eat you alive with ticks and chiggers.
Our lakes are full of gators, fresh water sharks, and creepy old guy wearing speedos
Our rivers are full of drunks in tubes peeing themselves while the banjo players lay waiting in the bushes
Mountain lions have eaten many domesticated animals and possibly some small children.
The local bear and coyote population are all 'in heat' and think your wife/girlfriend is hot.
Snakes….don’t even get me started on the water headed copper moccasins here and the diamond back rattle Cobras
The poison ivy has overtaken all other vegetation
We have had bear sightings at every park and town, they are after your picnic baskets….and some cougars have been spotted in motel rooms.
Watch out for the jackalopes; they have been extremely aggressive this season.
We have Bigfoot invading our parks and it’s their mating season. Porcupines are "stabbing" small children should they dare to utilize the local playground equipment.
Skunks have made their way over and multiplied at unprecedented rates and wander the local campgrounds in packs looking for beer.
Murder hornets!?! We’ve got great black clouds of murder hornets, and swarms of giant crickets and even some Alabama grasshoppers.
Scorpions have been congregating in massive quantities under rocks, logs, wooden steps, automobiles, and tarantulas are now stealing peoples food and biting like crazy.
I’m pretty sure all private tiger owners (we had a jump in them after Tiger King) have released their cats into the streets of our cities and towns.
Head lice now fly and we have vampire bats.
Don't even get me started about the tornadoes....
Oh no one is vaccinated, and we ain’t getting no Whole Foods

When we allow the Spirit to produce its fruit in us, we will display holiness in our lifestyle.
Don’t try to be holy with no Spirit, that means no fruit and well, that’s just a jerk in a skirt. You will only have true meekness, and love and self control, when your flesh is mortified, allowing the Spirit to guide your behavior and the difference will be dramatically obvious. Trust me, if the love of God is responding to a text or the meekness of God is picking out your clothes, and self control is surfing the internet, it’s gonna make choices your flesh never would.
Fruit sounds cute, but don’t be fooled. It’s not easy. It’s not like that’s just gonna happen like some mother goose rhyme.
* “Here’s the spirit and here’s some truth, water it daily and grow you some fruit! You’ll grow up some love, pop up some peace!
* meekness and temperance just spring up like weeds!”
* Huh Uh. No ma’am. I wish.
* Fruit takes time and… Not every seed planted in your being is a fruit tree.
* Not all fruit is real. People be growing fake fruit too. 👀
* The fruit of the Holy SPIRIT has an inherent enemy trying to choke the life out of it, your flesh. Both want to live.
* The one you water most is the one that will grow.
Galatians 5:17-26
17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, (look that one up- not good either)
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
(Those are bad things that grow naturally, you barely have to try… now on to the good stuff… get these and get holiness)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
Make a note: without the Spirit (crucifying your flesh), you’re not getting Self Control and without Self-Control, you’re not getting holiness.
Your flesh is your enemy, it’s greedy.
It’s a Monster.
You know why they put fences up around dangerous animals and say don’t feed them? Same reason we have boundaries and standards, not because we’re so perfect, hardly! It’s because we’re not.
Stop feeding the monster.
It’s hungry, It wants it’s way.
If you want Holiness, feed the Spirit and STOP FEEDING THE MONSTER. (Your carnal nature)
WHAT DOES THE MONSTER WANT?
It wants convenience.
It wants immediate gratification.
It wants glory.
It wants attention.
Don’t decorate it, deny it.
Don’t baby it, bury it!
Don’t strut it, starve it!
It won’t ever be satisfied. That’s the lie.
YOUR FLESH wants it’s best buddy, sin, to take you further than you want to go, keep you longer than you wanted to stay and cost you more than you want to pay.
IT WANTS TO TAKE YOU AND YOUR SOUL AND YOUR FAMILY STRAIGHT TO HELL ON THE ROAD PAVED WITH GOOD INTENTIONS.
IT’S TIME You stop feeding that thing and start starving it.
* Your flesh IS YOUR ENEMY.
* It doesn’t need a makeover, it needs a take-over.
* It doesn’t need an esthetician, it needs a crucifixion.
Holiness is a partnership. Holiness does not come automatically as we rest passively. Tesla has a cool auto pilot feature. Living for God is not like that. “Jesus take the wheel” is just a song y’all.
