Our Constitution was never designed to be a "living" document subject to deletions and omissions. Our country's founders designed it and had it say exactly what they wanted it to say. They wrote it in such a way that it would always be applicable to our nation throughout our country's growth. Some of my hobbies are baking bread, painting furniture and finding/swapping recipes for everything under the sun. My passion is gardening but I am in an apartment now so that is out for the time being until I can find a community garden to join. Then I'll be growing heirloom veggies again and saving seeds of what I grow. I have a wonderful pen pal in the Scottish Highlands who sends me his fantastic pictures of castle and monastery ruins. We discuss ghosts and he's seen some strange things in those ruins, too. My heart belongs to the Sasquatch people who I know are real. The groups about them on facebook are the only things I miss from there. As you can see, my interests are many and quite varied. There's too much to learn and find out about in life to be bored. Archaeology is a passion of mine, too. Dinosaurs, ancient giants, those rocks that move all by themselves in that Arizona desert (the name of which I can't think of right now) :-) It's fun to have bar-b-ques and friends over for dinners and fun get-togethers. Planning birthday and special events parties for friends and family is something I love to do. I'm sociable but also enjoy - and crave - my down time - which usually starts right after supper and the dishes are done. I love a fireplace in the wintertime and am thinking of getting one of those space heaters which show a fake fire just so I can enjoy something like the real thing.
