Catechol-o-methyltransferase (COMT) is the chief enzyme in the body that breaks down dopamine, epinephrine (adrenaline), norepinephrine, and estrogen. Anyone who is of the “Val/Met” or “Met/Met” genetic type requires methionine to produce COMT. Why is this so important? Because the production of methionine—and therefore the production of COMT—requires magnesium. This is why magnesium can help you sleep, however, magnesium metabolism is inhibited by the presence of mercury. This is why mercury exposed people experience anxiety, insomnia, fear, depression, hyperactivity, anger and many other emotional conditions. In short: Magnesium ? Methoinone Methionine ? Catechol-o-methyltransferase Catechol-o-methyltransferase lowers dopamine, epinephrine (adrenaline), norepinephrine, and estrogen. If you block magnesium, you interfere your body’s ability to calm down, have peace, and sleep well, but that’s not all. Mercury interferes with the production of the chief neuroregulator GABA (gamma-Aminobutyric acid). As a result, emotions are amplified and can become out-of-control. Worry about small issues becomes obsessive and overwhelming. Molehills become mountains. You lay down to sleep and you can’t stop thinking about your to-do list. Songs loop in your mind. You try to sleep but your mind won’t stop. As a result of hormone decimation and GABA destruction, young teens often start exhibiting rebelliousness, laziness, apathy, forgetfulness, or disconnection after placement of their first amalgam fillings or multiple vaccine exposure. Society has been taught to blame the teenage personality changes on “hormones”. Parents are taught that such changes at a younger age are just “the terrible twos”. Everything has a cause. Knowing the cause is 80% of knowing the cure. Mercury induces over 200 of the most common diseases today, yet the medical and dental industries have historically been the leading sources of exposure. Machiavellianism? Mercury is called “The Fear Drug” because it decimates your hormone balance and enzyme production and quite literally induces fear. Fear leads to virtually every type of destructive behavior. Enough mercury can lead to societal chaos. Some may say, “Stop stressing”, but how can you when it’s being chemically-induced against your will? Even heart fib, v-tach, and heart attacks can be caused by elevated adrenaline and other catecholamines. Different people are affected differently, but virtually everyone shows some symptomatic manifestation when exposed to even minute amounts of mercury, and it just gets worse and worse over time.
