I was reading about Hannah how she felt because she could not conceive that God didn't love her
She would pray and pray year after year without an answer.
But she would not quit praying
Peninnah I guess you might say her rival, for lack of a better term tormented her and mocked her
It was in Old Testament times—infertility was considered a profound embarrassment, a severe source of shame, and a "reproach" for women. Because a woman’s primary social role was to bear children, especially sons to carry on the family line and ensure economic security.
She was accused by Eli of being drunk because she was praying but nothing was coming out she was so weary.
But she kept praying and God gave her Samuel.
Sometimes we pray and pray, and it seems like the answer will never come.
God help me to persevere through prayer.
