Our 2026 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟑𝐫𝐝. We will be hand counting all votes cast on Election Day, but, unfortunately, all early voting votes will be counted by electronic voting machines. Hand counting is the best way to 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞. Each step of the hand counting process can be 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 by anyone; whereas, with the electronic machines, you don't know what is happening inside them, and you have no way to verify that the results are correct--you just have to hope everything is OK. And, that's my observation as an Election Judge--I have no way to know what those machines are doing! What is the County Executive Committee? All the Precinct Chairman of Gillespie County, plus the County Chairman, comprise the County Executive Committee, or CEC. Our job is to 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬, among other things. One of the biggest successes the CEC has had in the last couple years is securing our Primary Elections by hand counting the votes. I'm Up For Re-election. Will You Vote For Me? In 2022 when I announced my candidacy, I promised to be a strong conservative, true to the Bible and the Constitution, and I promised to take on the Republican establishment when that was necessary. I believe I have lived up to that promise. In general, our party has done a number of things to increase voter turnout, and to give good publicity to the Republican Party. A number of us in the CEC have worked hard to ensure the Republican Party remains strongly conservative. We have endorsed strong conservative candidates, and censured several RINO (Republican In Name Only) candidates, and passed conservative resolutions. Election integrity has been my main focus since becoming Precinct Chairman. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞. Working with other members of the CEC, we’ve managed to 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, which is the only transparent, verifiable way to count votes. We are working hard 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. The Republican establishment in this county is angry at those of us who refuse to compromise on election integrity, and who refuse to allow our County Chairman to break the rules. To silence our voices and replace us with people who will follow their bidding, the Gillespie establishment has recruited candidates to run against us. My opponent is a longtime anti-conservative Republican, Debbie Campbell Lets compare my positions to my opponent's. Covid Lock Down--Who Is The Conservative? My Opponent: Put On Your Mask, Surrender Your Liberty On her Facebook page on March 15, 2020, about 2 weeks after Abbott's first unconstitutional Covid lock down orders, my opponent endorsed lock downs, and whatever else was involved with "do[ing] our part" to "help flatten the curve!" Treibs On The Shut Down: "No Constitutional Authority To Shut Down This State" About the same time, I was posting many things contrary to the lock downs, the fear, and the government/media misinformation, including this quote from Ron Paul on March 17: "Governments love crises because when the people are fearful they are more willing to give up freedoms for promises that the government will take care of them. After 9/11, for example, Americans accepted the near-total destruction of their civil liberties in the Patriot Acts hollow promises of security." In April I wrote a letter to Gov. Abbott which included the following: "Sir, you have 𝐧𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐬 (wear a mask, etc), for those who have no symptoms of a contagious virus; nor do you have the authority to pass that unconstitutional authority down to lower levels of governments. "You need to 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲, admit you were wrong, and admit you had NO authority to do any of this, and promise to never do it again, nor allow anyone else to do it. "We are not grateful for a benevolent dictator; we want none at all!" Treibs Defends A Private Business And Brave Patriot In Ector County Who Refuses To Shut Down I also attended various protests and demonstrations, and drove up to Ector County 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬. I didn’t see my opponent up there; I also didn’t see any letters from her condemning Abbott for closing Texas. Examining our divergent responses to Covid tyranny, alone, should be enough to determine not only that 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬; whereas, my opponent is none of the above. My Opponent's Political Corruption--Breaking The Rules After the 2016 Precinct Convention, I requested a copy of the meeting minutes from the Convention Chairman, but he r𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐞, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝. The secretary of the Convention was my opponent. She backed up the Chairman in offering various excuses why they were not required to give me a copy of the documents. 𝐍𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝. I prepared a challenge and submitted it to the proper committee for the County Convention. The committee acknowledged that the rule had been broken, and 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. The Secretary of that meeting, my opponent, was as much in the wrong as was the Chairman, but, 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 to me for her role. Now she wants to be Precinct Chairman of this Precinct. My Opponent, A Long Time Anti-Conservative My opponent has fought against conservative politics for as long as I have known her. I have attended multiple Republican meetings with her and her husband, and I can tell you from personal experience that they are not conservatives. Plenty of times we have not been on the same side of issues. My opponent has 𝐚 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐬. She and her husband supported Carter Casteel over Nathan Macias, and again, Doug Miller over Nathan Macias. Both Casteel and Miller had very liberal voting records. Casteel misrepresented how she voted in Austin. In 2018 my opponents husband ran against Kyle Biedermann, who turned out to be one of the most conservative state representatives in all of Texas. In a Facebook entry dated 2-11-18 my opponent bashed Empower Texas, which, at the time was donating to some of the most conservative legislators in Texas. I wonder why she was so against a group that was supporting conservative candidates? Maybe because of 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬. What Has Been The Dispute In The Republican Party For The Last Year? Election integrity has been a heated issue in the CEC since 2021. In 2023 we adopted a resolution to hand count our 2024 Primary, which we did very successfully, contrary to the misinformation spread by the liberal news media and the Republican establishment. In 2025 we again passed a resolution to hand count our 2026 Primary, but we also 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, including early voting, which is actually 65-85% of the election, depending on how many people early vote. The resolution expressly rejected the use of electronic poll pads to sign in voters during early voting, and demanded the use of only paper poll books. Texas Secretary of State Ignores The Law The Secretary of State wrote a letter stating that the Republican Party does not control early voting (again, 65-85% of the election), based on the statute that says the elections administrator is the early voting clerk. According to the SOS, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝟔𝟓-𝟖𝟓% 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. The SOS ignored the concept that a governing board--the Republican Party--tells the administrator what to do, not the other way around. Similar to how a school board directs a superintendent, and the city council directs the city manager; the administrators follow the directions of their governing bodies. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝. The SOS ignored the Texas Election Code statute that says 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, with no exclusion for early voting. The SOS also ignored the statute which says 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐤 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲, which, in our case, we explicitly requested that paper poll books be used to check in voters during early voting, and that electronic poll pads not be used, due to their susceptibility to voter fraud. The SOS acted in what appears to be a violation of Texas Election Code 276.019: a public official or election official 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐲, 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝, 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐰 or rule in a manner not expressly authorized by this code, specifically, those parts of the Election Code that give the Republican Party control of its own election. The SOS declared the Republican Party did not have authority to supervise most of its own election, contrary to what the law actually says. SOS Ignores the Texas Constitution The Texas Constitution says the purpose of the election code is "𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐝 ... 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝." Electronic voting machines greatly increase the scale of possible fraud, and they make it impossible to determine if votes are counted as they were cast. I say this with personal observation as an Election Judge. Our resolution 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐝, and to ensure and verify that all legal votes are counted, but the SOS didn’t care about the Texas Constitution. Republican Party of Texas Platform says--Paper Poll Books Only The Texas Republican Party platform says: "we oppose: b: ...[𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭] 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞[𝐬] 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐞" [comment: fraud via computer, as in electronic poll pads, is difficult to deter or detect. Therefore, the RPT’s statement implicitly opposes the use of these devices] "We support: 𝐩) ... 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲." [comment: there it is--The Republican Party of Texas supports the use of paper poll books only!] "Hand-Counting Procedures: We support the rights of counties that are willing and able to competently and efficiently implement voting 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬" [comment: it is in the platform item referring to counting, but it says "voting procedures." Voter check-in is part of the voting procedure. It seems 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐎𝐒 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐞𝐭 as is held by other "Republican" SOSs, such as Georgia’s Brad Raffensperger, or the Colorado Democrat SOS Jena Griswold. The Basic Issues in the Republican Dispute The issues revolve around: --𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲𝐬 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, the Republican Party (the CEC), or an unelected bureaucrat (the Elections Administrator)? Hint: the law says the Republican Party controls the election. --When you have a governing body and an administrator, who’s in charge, the governing body, or the administrator? Ask yourself, if some court or agency told you to turn in your guns, would you meekly comply, or would you cite the Constitution and God-given rights, and tell them no? --What is the 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞, and how does it apply to the CEC and the Texas Secretary of State?(Hint: 𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠, not trip over themselves violating the Constitution and the law to conform to the SOS.) The 9-9-25 County Executive Committee (CEC) Meeting--The County Chairman Breaks The Rules To Win All these issues came to a head in the 9-25 CEC meeting. On 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, the majority of the CEC 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, which included us asserting control over early voting. Chairman Bruce Campbell ruled our proposed contract out of order. According to Roberts Rules of Order, the next step was for the ruling to be appealed, which subjects the chairman’s ruling to the will of the majority. If the majority upholds the ruling, then it would stand, but 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐧𝐨, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥, and our contract would have passed for the third time. However, the chairman refused to allow an appeal, stating it was "dilatory," which means it was just a waste of time, because there were not 2 valid opinions on the subject. The dilatory ruling is available in case a member wants to hold up proceedings by arguing that the sky is blue, or some other pointless point. But, 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭, 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞, it was supported by the Texas Election Code, the Republican Party Platform, and the Texas Constitution, and its passage was afforded by Roberts Rules of Order. But, Chairman Bruce 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 about any of that. We had one more parliamentary procedure available to us, 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬, which is to 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧, which I proceeded to do. That procedure tends to involve a lot of loud and angry words. Chairman Bruce Campbell also decided it included him 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐬. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫. Notably, the Chairman 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 from the meeting, but that does seem to be what his intentions were when he said he was going to call the police to restore order. I'm not sure how else the police would restore order besides by removing those of us who challenged him, possibly charging us with Penal Code 42.05. Disrupting Meeting or Procession (which doesn't apply). Unfortunately, those supporting the contract were not prepared for an angry confrontation, and 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞, and I made the mistake of not taking the no votes. I suspect there is a chance someone would have abstained, and the contract would have passed. As it was, the vote was tie, and the contract failed to pass for lack of a majority. I believe this confrontation played a role in the establishments current efforts to replace many of the most conservative members of the CEC, which is one reason why there are so many candidates for Precinct Chairman in this county. Surrendering Control Of The Republican Party's Election To An Unelected Government Bureaucrat. Why is the Chairman of the Republican Party so 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲𝐬 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭, to the point that he called the police on those who tried to stop him? I don’t know, other than I know he has spoken strongly in favor of electronic voting machines. The 2-10-26 County Executive Committee (CEC) Meeting--Surrendering to Electronic Voting Machines The Republican establishment 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. County Chairman Bruce Campbell called a special meeting to try to persuade us to flip at least part of our election back to electronic voting machines. This was the 2nd official meeting called for that purpose, and there was also a 3rd, unofficial meeting for the same purpose. Those pushing us to flip from hand counting to electronic voting machines invested huge amounts of time, meetings, and multiple phone calls to pressure us to change. I didn’t see them putting that same effort into recruiting counters. Those of us who participated remotely did so 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐬𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬. Up until Tuesday's meeting, the pro-hand-count CEC members had the votes to kill the effort. Unfortunately, someone persuaded a pro-hand-count member to switch his vote. The majority then voted to change the counting of the early voting ballots to electronic voting machines. That means that the majority of the Republican Party’s election will not be hand counted. Do you understand what happened? Sixty-five to eighty-five percent of the Republican party's votes will NOT be hand counted, thanks to Bruce Campbell and the others pushing it. One of the points the leadership made was the number of volunteers who had signed up to hand count. Those of us who were actively recruiting counters--instead of spending inordinate amounts of time trying to change our counting method--were going through lists of those who had counted last time, and we were building a good number of counters. 𝐖𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, 𝟑 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠. Inducing Panic Over A Non-Existent Issue I believe strongly that harping endlessly on the number of volunteers was a 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐄𝐂 into flipping some or all of the counting back to the machines. The amount of time it takes to count the ballots is 𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭, because with hand counting, no matter how long it takes, 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬.If we only had half the volunteers that we had the last time, then it would have taken twice as long, but the results would still be trustworthy, unlike with the electronic voting machines. But, I think we would have had way more than that. Electronic Voting Machines: Non-Transparent, Non-Verifiable. Electronic voting machines are not transparent. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦. You just have to hope and trust that they are doing what they are supposed to be doing. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 unless you hand count all the ballots. That little ticker tape from the scanner verifies nothing. On the other hand, 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, which is exactly what the law requires. Comparing Transparency Of Hand Counting To Electronic Voting Machines. On election day, on the precinct level, (early votes are counted in a separate location all together) ballots are sorted into batches of 50. Each batch has a tally sheet for each race and each vote, including under and over votes. The 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝟒 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, who sign their names in an affidavit swearing to their truthfulness, also supervised by the Election Judge and Alternate. Then there is a tally summary sheet, where 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, with cross- checking features. Finally, there is a return sheet where all the batch summaries are totaled, again, 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬. Every document is signed by whoever touched it, and there may also be a counting captain, with the Election Judge supervising. At each level of paperwork, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝. If necessary, you can go all the way back to the batch of ballots and physically verify the count. 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐞 of that. You just have to trust that everything was done correctly; hence, the electronic voting machines are completely non-transparent, with zero venerability. Trust Electronic Voting Machines Just Because I Told You So The only trust factor is that 𝐚 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬. 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞. The voter, the Election Judge, the clerks, the elections administrator, 𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠; just hope that all those people are correct who are telling him or her that it is. Audit The CEC also agreed to do a full audit of the ballots, possibly days or weeks after the election, with the ballots sitting around in the elections department. Who knows who will have access to them during that time? The audit has nothing to do with hand counting the election; early voting counting will be done on election day by the electronic tabulators. The term hand count audit is 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, making it seem like there is some connection to hand counting the election; there is no connection. Of course the numbers will match, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. Then well hear about how we can trust the machines, and all the fuss about not trusting them is proven to be false. But, these are electronic devices that can be secretly altered, and no one will know what happened. They are fundamentally a 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬, contrary to what the Texas Constitution requires. The whole point of hand counting is that the process 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞, not that there was 1 election where the results were verified, and now we can continue forever with zero transparency and zero verifiability. Remember Why We Decided To Hand Count In The First Place Do you remember the election fraud of 2020? Do you remember that the election was stolen from Donald Trump? Do you remember that the Biden junta occupied the federal executive branch, not because of a lack of volunteers, but because of large scale election fraud, including fraud from electronic voting machines? Do you remember that we were all designated domestic terrorists because election fraud enabled that criminal to overthrow the executive branch of the federal government? Do you remember Dominion before all references to it were blocked? That had nothing to do with volunteers. Do you remember the F fraud curve, when the counting was stopped so the numbers could be changed, and Trump went from leading, to losing? That wasn’t the number of volunteers, that was election fraud. As it now stands, the CEC has voted to return to the machines that helped accomplish all of the above. They don’t care about the Constitution. They talk all day about what they are going to do when they are in power, but when they actually have power, they do nothing. The CEC’s Tuesday vote cannot be blamed on Dade Phelan, Mike Johnson, John Cornyn, Dustin Burrows, or any of the other weak Republicans. We cant blame Epstein or Soros. We can definitely blame Bruce Campbell, but he didn’t do it by himself. Conclusion Your vote for me on March 3rd can thwart the establishments efforts to replace the conservatives in the CEC.
