There is no doubt of that, and never has been, in spite of suggestions otherwise. The 24 hour deadline is a soft line. If we don't meet that deadline, no one is going to throw away the votes; a judge will tell us to continue, and all votes be counted. The most important aspect of our election is to have transparent and verifiable results. That's why we are hand counting in the first place. We don't want a repeat of 2020, where the election was stolen. Do you remember 2020? The electronic voting machines are black boxes. You can't see what they are doing; you can't verify the results without hand counting the entire election. The only question is when we will finish. If it takes longer, so what? We can trust the results. Doesn’t matter what it costs, or how long it takes. Our job is to conduct an accurate election, and that is what our hand counting method does—accurately and verifiably conducts an election with full transparency. If we flip to electronic voting machines because of efforts to panic and stampede us, our election will not be transparent or verifiable. Why? Because there is some driven urgency to flip us back to machines no matter what tactics have to be used. The worst scenario is we lose a few hours of sleep on Tuesday night. Big whoop. We lose some sleep? And that compares to having a trustworthy election? At some point the Democrats will use election fraud to flip Texas. If we are using these electronic systems, we will have no way to know it, and no way to challenge it. All because we are so petrified, panicked, and stampeded into switching to electronic voting machines, again, so we don’t lose any sleep Tuesday night. That doesn’t sound very noble to me. If you are worried about being arrested for missing the 24 hour deadline, the last time the 24 hour deadline was missed, in Houston, no one went to jail. I can see the opponents of hand counting wanting to throw us in jail to terrify everyone against ever hand counting. After all, several of us had the police called on us recently for standing for election integrity. But if it's that big if a deal, I already offered Bruce to switch me and Tammy, since early voting is where the problem might be, if there is one. I am not afraid to risk going to jail to have a trustworthy election. Hopefully we'll finish in time, and even if we don't, hopefully no one goes to jail. I'm certainly glad the men who landed on the beaches of D-Day didn't have similar trepidations, otherwise we might be speaking German. If it's that much of an issue, then resign. The more important thing to remember is we need to put more effort into recruiting counters. We have a month. We can do it.
