😡PURE EVIL😡 Steven Gress laughed in a Pinellas courtroom after pleading guilty to first-degree m*rder of a TEEN GIRL and saying he’d rather face execution than life. Gress entered the plea on Aug. 19 with no deal taking the de*th penalty off the table. Judge Philip Federico told him the floor is life without parole or execution. "Life or de*th is a lose-lose," Gress said, then chuckled. He told the court he would rather be executed than spend decades in prison and that pleading guilty felt like "the right thing to do." ⠀He also said, "I did not k*ll Miranda, but I was involved in certain things that led to her de*th."Prosecutors say 16-year-old Miranda Corsette of Gulfport met Gress on Grindr and went to his St. Petersburg home on Feb. 14, 2025.Police say she was held for days of ab*se after Gress and girlfriend Michelle Brandes accused her of taking a ring.An affidavit says Gress sent photos of her worsening condition to several people, including his mother, and that nobody who got them called police. ⠀ Investigators say after she was de*d the group went for food and mini golf with her remains still in the vehicle, then drove about 50 miles to dump them.Brandes is charged separately with m*rder and kidnapping and has pleaded not guilty, with a pretrial date in October. Corsette’s family has a civil suit against Grindr that is separate from the criminal case. Gress returns Nov. 4 for the penalty phase. ⠀ #Florida #StPetersburg
