"SUPREME COURT DELIVERS MAJOR WIN FOR PARENTS — 6-3 RULING ALLOWS OPT-OUT FROM LGBTQ BOOKS THAT CONFLICT WITH FAITH
📍The Supreme Court just sided with parents in the Mahmoud v. Taylor case, ruling 6-3 that schools must notify them and allow opt-outs when books conflict with their religious beliefs.
👉Shannon Bream reported:
'This brought together a coalition of parents of different religious faiths and backgrounds who said there used to be a rule in this particular school district that would let them know when there were books that dealt with issues that may be in conflict with their religious faith. So many parents were opting out that the school board and district quit doing it.'
👉Justice Alito’s majority opinion granted a preliminary injunction:
'They said these parents have earned at least a preliminary injunction so while this case plays out they said the board has to notify them about a book in question or anything similar so their kids can be excused.'
⭕️The Court rejected the idea that parents should just homeschool or go private:
'Justice Alito and others saying that’s not practical for a lot of people.'
👉The liberal dissent from Justice Sotomayor (joined by Kagan and Jackson) claimed the ruling 'threatens the essence of public education' and that it’s 'not about bringing kids together to learn about a particular faith new ideas.'
👉Parents’ rights just got a massive boost. Government schools no longer get to force LGBTQ propaganda on kids without giving families a say.
🏆Huge victory for religious liberty and common sense."

Sadly the parents don't have the power to protect their children without the authority of 9 asswipe judges. What kind of world are we living in? States rights and individual rights be damned.
