👉He signed the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871
and sent in federal troops to enforce it.
👉He used the power of the federal government to arrest Klan members and protect Black Americans who were voting Republican during Reconstruction.
👉The KKK was created to stop Black Republicans from voting.
👉That is not up for debate — that is documented U.S. history.👈
👉So before people repeat the same tired line:
⭕️ Republicans ended slavery.
⭕️Republicans passed the Civil Rights Amendments.
⭕️Republicans used federal troops to stop the Klan.
