My town just lost two more small businesses along the avenue. A Small grocery didn't return from Christmas vacation.
This little story had a touch of everything.
Some fruits, vegetables chocolate, frozen foods, milk, etc. You get the picture, right? Convenient. Walking distance.
Two years ago a superstore opened 4 miles away. In that time I watched this shop close earlier, reduce inventory, turn lights down that use to shine bright on the apples , pears and peaches.
I asked about why I didn't see much of his two daughters working. He just politely said; their lives were changing. I Didn't quite understand.
So yesterday, chatting with a neighbor, he complained that the little store, yep! The one that has been in the neighborhood for decades was closing. No i said; it's closed!
So i asked; when was the last time you purchased from them? He said; well my wife says that they were higher priced.
He rarely stopped in.
PS: WANNA KEEP YOUR SMALL BUSINESS THRIVING, FUCKING BUY THEIR PRODUCT. YOU WANT $0.59 OFF YOUR BILL, GO TO THE SUPERSTORE.
JUST BE AWARE THAT YOU ARE KILLING SMALL BUSINESS. And stop bitching or wake up!

A spiritual awakening is shifting the energy, frequency and vibration of mother earth. I sense that it is best to ignore the ugliness of humanity and dwell on the divine Nature that is within us.
Don't be thrown off course by those in charge, because while they think that they are in charge, these pundits , wizards of wealth, intellectuals of nothing, scholars and geniuses, Renaissance men, and some women i might add, are disconnected from TRUTH.
Ignore then! Ignore their lies, threats and intimidations. Its all an illusion meant to disrupt your inner peace. These pundits have no claim to your SOUL.

Won't mention names here, but yesterday I had a short conversation on Wimkin that triggered my senses.
Over the years I have experienced a number of people who have proven in time that they no longer deserve my time or my attention. These types are rude and arrogant. These types talk down to those who disagree or have other opinions. These people believe that they know better than anyone else. Why? Because they are trapped by their ego.
They consider others as though, others, are here to listen to them.
Sadly, they deprive themselves of one of the most important things in life.
So friends of Wimkin, when you encounter another who tries to vex your spirit, drop them like a hot rock.
Each of us is unique. We are the light of creation. We are here on this earth to learn and service others.
When someone tells you that your opinions dont matter and they don't have time to "EXPLAIN THEIR TRUTH" TO YOU,
POLITELY CANCEL THEM as I did.

Why do people run to box stores?
Well of course the number 1 reason is pricing. Then convenience. Then variety.
Sure makes it easy.
But while you are enjoying these, understand that your small business, family owned operators are disappearing.
On line sales hit record numbers and as boomers die off that number will grow.
Boomers still have a soft spot for small business because as children they didn't have stores that could house a Boeing plant.
Oh well! All I can say is, with out the local grocery or small retail, you better hang on to your vehicles or expect a long walk or ride on your electric bike.
