IT'S SUMMER!!!
Of course the ice will melt quickly.
If you want to prove the Earth is warming, do this in WINTER and see how long it takes the ice to melt.
Better yet, stand in buckets of water in the winter and see if your feet freeze into ice blocks.
Would that prove global COOLING?
