A controversial law in the Islamic Republic of Iran forces fathers who want to rape their adopted daughters to marry them first. The law also set the minimum age of father-daughter marriage to 13. If the daughter is under 13, the father has to get a formal judge's permission to marry her before he can rape her.
Under Islamic laws in Iran, women and girls have no autonomy over their own bodies. They are considered the property of their male guardians (father, husband, brother etc.).
