Ecuavisa 🔴🇪🇨🔴 #Pachakutik announced that #LeonidasIza, president of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (Conaie), will be their presidential candidate in the 2025 elections.
The event held this Saturday, June 8 in south Quito, Guillermo Churuchumbi, coordinator of Pachakutik, officially confirmed this designation.
Delegations from most provinces came to the call where the movement has a significant influence in order to develop the "government plan 2025".
Churuchumbi, called on the unity of the movement to successfully tackle the forthcoming elections.
