We Act on What we Believe
No matter what we say we believe, our actions bear out what we actually believe.
No matter what we think we believe, our action reveal what we do believe.
It is easy to say we believe something, but belief impacts actions.
That is why deceiving ourselves into thinking that we actually believe that Jesus is our Lord, while we treat Him as our servant, is so dangerous.
If we say that we believe that the Bible is the word of God, but we ignore it, or worse yet, our actions are against what it teaches, what does that say about what we actually believe?
Forget what you say you believe. Check your actions. Are you living out those beliefs?
Knowing the truth is not enough, if we do not act on the truth. If we act like God is untrustworthy, it doesn't matter that we say we trust Him.
Stay strong! Check your beliefs against your actions and make sure that you are living what you say you believe.
