Never Forgottern and Always Missed
Today is Barry's birthday, another one spent in Heaven, another one we can only share with memories and enjoying some of his favorite things, like chocolate.
My beloved husband Barry was the kind of man that will never be forgotten by anyone who knew him well. And he will always be missed until we meet again im Paradise.
Yes, my beloved, I used both never and always when speaking of you. I have to smile. It wasn't really on purpose, but it works to remind me of what he often said.
He would say about disagreements with anyone, but especially between spouses and parents with children to never use "never" or "always". Like you "never pick up your socks." Or you are "always late for everything".
Then he would smile and say "them be fightin' words" in his best western drawl.
They really were wise words becaise the always and never that pop up in disagreements and arguements do not really address the issues needing addressed if exaggerations are added.
But, in this case it is not an exaggeration. Barry will never be forgotten and will always be missed by those who were friends with him. He made an impact. It has not faded. His loss just feels more pronounced.
I love you and miss you my beloved Barry! I am so thankful you are alive with Jesus and I will see you again!
