Rain Comes
It has been a long stretch without some steady rain. It has hardly been worth counting, as little as it has been, since the storm on July 27th.
We got a lot of rainfall then, but not much since and bright sunshine that dried things up more. Beautiful weather, but a lot of work to keep plants and gardens watered and ponds filled.
Since most of us took advantage of the time to get more outdoor things done, it hadn't become a real problem until recently.
At this time of year a lot of fruit is ripening on the trees. It really has been beautiful weather for it, except for the lack of rain.
So not only was the ground taking it in and the plants and trees rejoicing, but most of us were praising God for His outpouring.
And after a bit of scattered showers this morning, the blue sky made its appearance, with bright white puffy clouds to accent it.
Stay strong! Be thankful for the blessings that come your way.
