Within a Day
We just got back from my brother's lake, taking a nice dip and getting refreshed. We fit it in after a very busy morning. Now the kids are doing afternoon chores while I write.
I am so thankful for the ability to walk to his place and take a swim. It is such a blessing.
Summer is so full, but we always try to fit in fun things, or it would just zip by in work. It takes planning, even if it means a dash here or there.
God gives us the help we need and the time to accomplish the needful things, but also time to enjoy the life that He gives us.
Like every season, summer is also filled with the unexpected. It takes different shapes and forms, but is still something that changes the makeup of the day.
And quite often the unexpecred takes a lot more time than anticipated. But that is why it is unexpected. If it were planned, it would be expected.
With prayer and seeking God's wisdom, by the end of the day, it all works out.
