Time gets away from us, and suddenly the concert I was thinking about going to, was here.
Yikes! I hadn't even made plans to go. But it all came together with a few texts and soon I was there.
I came a little early because I rode with a friend from the church where the concert was. And things had to be readied there.
While waiting for it to start I sat outside for a bit, enjoying the beautiful weather--not too hot or too cold.
But the clouds were already darkening and soon there were raindrops falling. So, I went inside and got to enjoy listening as they did some songs while testing out the sound hook-up. It sounded good even then, so I was pretty sure it would be a great concert.
More friends and people came. It really started to fill up, which I was glad of. When musicians come all the way up to a small town in the Northwoods, it is good to have a great turnout.
It was a wonderful night. God was glorified as they shared their music and testimonies.
We had some snacks and fellowship when it was over and then I headed home with another friend.
The rain had stopped and the air felt fresh. So nice!
Stay strong! Music can unite others with you in glorifying God!
