First Thunderstorm of the Year
We had our first Thunderstorm of the year overnight and into the morning. It poured and poured, lightning flashed and thunder roared. They were good sights and good sounds. The sounds of Spring!
It is not the howling wind of a blizzard, which we had not that long ago. That was winter refusing to step aside.
Today it felt like Spring was pushing through with a forceful shove, finally.
The snow has not been washed away yet. That will still take a little time. But the rain did a nice, though sloppy job, of cleaning off some of the areas.
It is looking more promising now. The temperature is also rising. The low last night was 38°F. It is expected to be in the low 60's today. Even with the on and off rain, that should feel pretty nice.
Stay strong! Even slow movements ahead, moves forward.
