Bike Ride Weather
My daughter and I needed to bike in this morning for some shopping. It had neen pretty hot all week, but it was cooler today, in the low 70's.
It had rained pretty steadily overnight, but had stopped earlier this morning, and the air was nice and fresh. It was a beautiful bike ride.
We ran into an unexpected sale at a Thrift Shop when we decided to check it out today, and found some cute and useful things. That is always fun.
I love the way God provides. Sometimes it is new purchases, sometimes gifts, sometimes at rummage sales and Thrift Shops. I enjoy the experience of each.
Thrift Shops and rummage sales are like mini treasure hunting. When you shop at a regular store they have a variety of styles in various colors and sizes. To find an outfit, or pieces of them, in our right size and style can be quite the challenge, but it great fun when we do.
Most times it is pieces that work for everyday wear, nothing particularly special, but useful. But sometimes that favorite outfit will appear, as if made especially for us, and that is a special treat.
When I think about some of the things that came together to make this day a pleasure, I would have to include the weather, bikes and the ability to use them, someone to share the ride with, a beautiful place to ride, fresh air and the beauty of nature.
Taking it all together made another unique and blessed day.
