View MoreSeptember 3, 2026, the 246th day of 2026 Dealing With Death I am reminded of death again with the obituary of my brother-in-law. He died on July 22 this year, but the obituary just came out. It all came back to the surface again. Most of us do not deal properly with death, either about our eventual death or the death of loved ones. We push it aside, thinking we understand what we are dealing with. But death puts us face to face with God and we should not rush that. We will not see the smile we anticipate if we do. Everything will be releaved with one look into His eyes and disappointment is not something we want to see in God's eyes. Giving up, giving in and surrendering to circumstances should not be options for Christians, but many Christians feel righteous when they surrender to death, when death has not come to claim them. God has no problem at all coming to get you when He is ready for you. But too many go through faithful lives to fail at the end. And it is not the threat of martyrdom that causes them to fail, but the thought of living life beyond what they find confortable. It happens all too often and no one seems to call them on it. We don't know what anyone is going through, so we remain silent and so do they. To avoid being a bother many people choose to lay down and die, instead of getting up and fighting until their last breath, ragged though it may be. No one knows what God can do with any of us in whatever situation we find ourselves. So, tell us. If you are alone and lonely, suffering and life seems to be too much to bear, start writing. Anyone can do that. You don't need to be a professional. You don't need to share it, but also you can if you want. Write down your memories for your friends and family members. If it too hard to write, record them. Almost everyone has a phone with a recorder and a camcorder on it. Stay connected on Social Media. Tell of God's past deeds in your life. Encourage and uplift others. Don't sink into a shell and die. Unless we put our life and our death into the hands of Jesus, we will not be able to fully live. We must be ready to live the full life God gives us, even after others we care about deeply have gone from us, even when our health is gone, even when we are old and alone. If God has not taken us, we are to strive to live. There is a reason Heaven is a mystery to us Christians. We are not meant to strive to get there too soon, or focus too hard on it. It is our final destination, but the timing is not ours. It is God's. Do not play God with your life. People may abandon you in your situation, do not abandon others. There is always someone worse off than you. If you are a Christian there are many, many people in perfect life situations that do not have eternal life. They are all far worse off than you. Speak your faith to them. If we surrender our choice to give up when life doesn't seem worth living, we will find that we will be doing the work God gave us up until our last breath. And we will enter Heaven with a smile. Stay strong! Be faithful until the moment God calls you home! NAN

View MoreAugust 31, 2026, the 243rd day of 2026 Prayer in Between a Breath There are some prayers that escape from a heart that has no answer, or even a question, just a needing help. I just had one of those prayers. I had just finished editing my 2020 book. It was already written as posts, but as I said before the incompatible programs made a long ordeal of copy and pasting into another program. And the phone's automatic changes when they found a typo, did not fix in the copy/paste, but sent the typo along when pasted into another program. So it has been tedious to say the least, for something that was already written and posted. It should have been a breeze. In one way it was a lot easier being able to pick up my phone and check it over line by line, but the phone app itself had enough glitches that I set it aside for a while, thinking working on the computer would be a better option. But that didn't work out. Too many things got in the way for that. So, line by line, here and there, I edited. And I supposed this part would have been done months ago. But finally, after working on it most of the day, I had it done! But then.. Somehow in the renaming and saving process it told me that I could no longer open it! And it was the only copy that was completed. I had other copies of variois stages, but had not made another copy after those. A simple step. Never a problem. Suddenly looked like I would be going backwards yet again, when I thought I was finally done with this step. I wrote my publisher of the issue as I sent the file off to him, hoping that it was some easy fix he knew of, not something fatal. My prayers rose skyward as I pushed that send. My breath continued. God reminded me that the timing of my life was in His hands, because I gave it to Him. The timing of this book was in His hands, as I gave it to Him. "Yes, Lord, I know," I said, thinking His words meant that I would have to redo all that work. Then I thought I should download the file I just sent my publisher, from the sent message, and then try to open it. I did. And it did! Thank God! Breathed a sigh of relief! Next stage in publishers hands, and of course, as always, in God's! Stay strong! No matter what it looks like, prayer is always a good choice. NAN

I had all my regular memories, but also had memorie... View MoreDreams and Visions Yesterday I wrote my post pretty early and then I fell back asleep. As I slept I dreamed a dream, that felt more like a vision. I had all my regular memories, but also had memories of things I did not know, and people I do not know. Without going into the dream itself, the feel of it was like walking with an angel into an unexpected place, only to discover that the place was not only familiar--in the spiritually aware way--but also perfectly set up for what was coming. I sang a song with the Heavenly chore, as I was being led to my place. That song was known by my heart, though I do not think I ever heard it before on Earth. I was brought to an unexpected place, and yet it was good, not a bad thing. In the dream I held my covered coffee mug, dangling in my hand by the handle, which I just happened to be carrying when I had the encounter with the angel. The dangling coffee mug in my hand seemed to keep me grounded in Earthly memories, and my physical self, while in a Heavenly place. I think that I remembered the dream more when I woke up because of it, but that is just a hunch. I was still singing the song in my mind when I was awakened by my daughter giving me our dog. The sudden awakening took my brain a few moments to center on where I was, not where I had been in the dream. The impressions I got in the dream clung to me. It was a reminder that even with all that is going on on Earth, there is calm. Even in the movements in the Heavenly realm, there is no rush, there is no sense of urgency or thr running out of time. It is more of anticipation. Even though God is at war with evil, what we see as leading to a bloody end, God sees the victory beyond. Even with the soon arrival of the Antichrist, there was no hassle or tension or concern in that place. And I realized that the sense of anticipation, was because, really, ever since Jesus left it has been building up for His triumphant return as King of kings and Lord of lords! And that cannot happen until Satan has his man to give his power to for a time, to weed out the rest who refuse to be led by the truth, but willingly believe a lie. Victory is coming, and is already assured, even though from our side of it, it may look darker, because evil is running a muck. People are choosing their sides, and once that clock runs out--it will be like all Hell broke loose. But it will really be the death throngs of the enemy, his followers and his schemes, even as they rejoices in what looks like success. Stay strong! It will get worse, but God's victory is assured!
