I Write for the One
I do not write for the masses. If I did I would write things that the masses agree with and would be more than happy to stand behind.
I write for the one. The one who needs to hear my words, the words that come from prayer and from dwelling in the presence of God, seeking them.
I do not write for the masses, who have more than enough to tickle their fancy.
I write for the one, in whatever state the one may be found. I do not know it, but God does.
Sometimes it is encouragement. Sonetimes it is a wake up call. Sometimes it is sharing my time, my experiences, my heart, little slices of my life.
It doesn't matter to me that I do not reach the many. That is not my goal. It is not my calling.
I have been called to write for the one. And if that is you today, know that I am praying for you.
I may know you. Or I may not know you. You may read my posts every day. Or you may read one here or there. Or this may be the first one you have ever read.
It doesn't matter to me. I do not need to know. God knows.
If I was writing for the masses I would crave comments, likes, encouraging words to keep me going.
But since I am writing for the one, I do not need any of that. I don't need anyone to like or comment on anything.
God knows the needs of each and every individual. And if all of us reached only one person, every day, that would be amazing!
Today, God told me to tell you that He knows. He hears. He cares and that you are not alone. Do not give up!
Stay strong! You are special to Jesus! Seek Him and you will be found!
