Swimming Once Again
I love to swim, but I never seem to get in as much in as I would like. Therere is only so much time and we can have such short seasons because of fluctuating weather.
Throughout the summer we have slipped in a swim here and there, which has really been nice. But still, as Fall approaches the idea of the swinming season ending soon is not a pleasant thought.
So I was extremely thankful to have been able to swim again today. Being 88°F today was pretty hot. And since it was still 84°F and humid at 5:30 pm, we decided to head to the lake for a cool down.
I was not sure if the water would be warm enough still, to make it enjoyable, as we had many early mornings in the 40's and 50's throughout August.
But the lake was a nice temperature. I am sure the past days and nights, thaf were really warn, made a difference.
Not only did I get in a good swim, but I still feel refreshed as we are heading into a warm night.
Stay strong! God's world is amazing! He provides so much! And swimming in a clear lake on a warm day, is one of the best of them!
