The Devil Wants Controversy
It doesn't matter what it is about, it is all the same to the Devil, if it causes controversy, chaos and confusion--any or all of the three.
I see it so much everywhere, over everything and anything. Weird AI videos, or religious differences, political difficulties, how we treat health issues, if we should give our opinion or keep quiet. It is really downright crazy.
So, I step back and away from it quite often. And I think, "Does this edify God in any way?"
It doesn't mean I only talk about God, but when controversy arises and that irritation wants to come to the surface over it, I have to wonder who actually is profiting from it.
If we cannot discuss our differences as rational human beings, maybe we should just step away from the discussion.
If we are giving more glory to Satan and his divisive ways than to anything else, maybe it is time to think again.
Discussion good? Ranting bad!
Sharing our opinions with one another can help us see other viewpoints, that is good. Screaming and name calling is bad.
Sometimes I feel like I am on a kindergarten playground with children fighting "it's mone" no "it's mine" endlessly.
Taking the item away is sometimes the only option.
Let's pray to God that what we are arguing over, in irrational ways, is not something God will say, "enough, none of you can have this."
Stay strong! Speak with a clear head and without emotional overload.
