Attitude
There are extremes in this world that there seems to be no accounting for. People try to make up formulas to explain why some people turn out better than others.
We can see some patterns, spoiled children often grow up to feel entitled to every good things, while the kids who have to striggle through life,do not.
But as soon as someone takes it as an absolute, someone will come along from a family that spoiled them, and they will be one of the most giving of people, demanding nothing in return.
Or a child that struggles, grows bitter and begins to act like the world owes them compmesation for their hard life.
But it all makes sense when you realize that God made us with free will, and how we choose to think will impact how we act.
It is how we view our situation that will determine how we turn out. Grateful and appreciative people will be better people simply because those are good attitudes.
Bitter and vindictive people will turn out bad, simply because those attitudes are bad.
We may try to improve our fellow human beings lives, but if we ignore their attitude, results will seem random, unknowable.
We can change the circumstances of someone's life, improve it greatly on the surface, but if a bad attitude remains unchanged, it will lead to bad results.
God warns us that our thoughts and attitudes matter. It is time we takr that to heart.
Stay strong! Check your attitude, it matters more than you think.
