View MoreOctober 8, 2026, the 281st day of 2026 What Happens to Sheep Without a Shepherd? Sheep without a Shepherd are a prey to any predator. They have no voice to lead them. They have no shelter to be led to. They have no one to tend to them, heal their wounds or shear them. They are basically helpless on their own. To survive they will find themselves someone to follow. Too many in America are sheep who are denying or ignoring their Shepherd. They have wandered away from Him. Their children are born not knowing of Him. And they are utterly lost and easy prey for any "wolf in sheep's clothing" or even an undisguised wolf, as no one taught them that the wolf was their enemy. Though many Americans don't know our Shepherd, we are not Shepherdless. Jesus is the Shepherd of America, because America was founded upon Him and Christian principles. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He Who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” Psalms 100:1-5 "In God we Trust!" Our Gif was identified, He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--the God of Israel, the Creator, the God of the Bible, from where we got our direction. Jesus the Only Begotten Son of God, the Messiah, is also our Lord. The 10 Commandments were placed all over our country as our guide. We taught them and obeyed them as law. "In God we Trust, is our national motto, so we would never forget Who ultimately is in charge. It is stamped and written as a testimony to that fact. It is there because people forget and people need to be reminded. America does not have an Earthly King because The Lord Jesus is our King! No matter what we face, if The Lord Jesus is our King, we can add this verse to anything we tackle, because for us He is all these things and more! “(For the Lord is our Judge, The Lord is our Lawgiver, The Lord is our King; He will save us);” Isaiah 33:22 Because of this we can rejoice! “Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth.” Psalms 47:1-2 And the great thing is, that our King is also our Shepherd! Jesus said: "I am the Good Shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one Shepherd.” John 10:14-16 Stay strong!
