Corrie Ten Bolm certainly knew what she was talking about! She lived through the prison camps of the holocaust. Truth often goes against religious sentiment and desire. The strongest trees with the deepest roots have gone through the greatest storms and adversities.
God's amazing manifest presence is often measured out in line with our trials.
Let me repeat that line
“ God’s amazing manifest presence is often measured out in line with our trials”.
A study of the great characters of the Bible reveals unusual trials and troubles which came only because God was with them.
This is hard to swallow with the natural mind and feelings.
Just because God is with you, it does not mean life will be easy.
Yesterday I never got the news I wanted with my heart and as they we’re doing a heart cath they had to shock me back to life they lost me… it was very peaceful and until I woke up, felt like I had slept the best I ever slept for 24 hours.
It was a weird feeling. I don’t know where I was at, but I was out there somewhere. It was calm and peaceful but hard to describe. It was so calm and no fear, no worries, no anxiety.
I never saw any lights, any tunnels, or anything that many people write about and that’s not saying others didn’t see something special.
After a few hours of reflecting maybe I am going to have to carry this burden… no I’m not Paul and not saying it’s a thorn in the flesh.

I’m also not saying God put sickness on me either because the word says Psalms 103:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;
who healeth ALL thy diseases.
But until something changes I press forward.
