THE CHURCH HAS FAILED BY LIVING TOO MUCH LIKE THE WORLD
When A.W. Tozer wrote these words, he wasn't trying to win an argument.
He was calling the Church to pause and look inward.
Not because the world wasn't changing—but because God's people are always called to be different.
It's easy to drift.
Not all at once.
But little by little.
We begin to value comfort more than conviction.
Acceptance more than obedience.
Popularity more than faithfulness.
Tozer wasn't saying Christians should withdraw from the world. Jesus sends us into it.
His concern was something deeper:
What happens when the world begins to shape the Church more than Christ does?

These words aren't an invitation to criticize others.
They're an invitation to examine ourselves.
Before asking what's wrong with the Church, perhaps we should first ask:
Lord, is there any part of my life that looks more like the world than it does like You?
