(For a while, at least) Tomorrow morning, I start a dedicated regional gig. After almost 7 years...Ill finally be home every weekend instead of being out 3-4 weeks at a time. I got to see and skateboard all 48 contiguous states. Nevada, Washington state and Wisconsin are the best for that. I also got to taste food from everywhere and tip (more than a few beers) in some VERY interesting places around the US. ..Its kind of sad to give up that part of life.... but more money, a steady schedule and regular home time just make more sense at this time.
To celebrate the end of this chapter....we're having puerto rican rice with crumbled thick cut bacon on top, salvadorean sausages on the grill and fried sweet plantains. Of course there's no shortage of beer... To wash it down....We have a fresh 1/2 keg of sierra nevada hazy little thing and some yuengling golden pilsners for a palate cleanse. ;-) :-B
