View MoreThe USPS operating inside a mosque From dmlnewsletters@dml360.com (DML) To zx2nana@sbcglobal.net Oct 26 at 1:04 PM THE DML REPORT The takeover is real. There are few people who have covered immigration and its negative impact on the United States like yours truly. I have seen everything—or so I thought. Yesterday, a new video on X left me with my mouth wide open in shock: a post office run by the U.S. government is operating inside a building owned and operated by an Islamic mosque. In Plymouth, MN, you may recall Dave Hoch, the older man who worked with YouTuber Nick Shirley to uncover the fraud taking place in Minneapolis. Although he and Nick seem to have parted ways, Dave is now working with a man named Zak, who is capturing Dave and his unbridled determination to call out what is wrong with the liberal state of Minnesota. The video opens with Dave showing how a United States Postal Service location operates as a store within a stand-alone building owned and operated by an Islamic group. A USPS employee uses an employee entrance that is also used by members and operators of the mosque. Dave is concerned about this, wondering whether the mosque has access to the same rooms that hold the mail, including mail-in ballots. A car of young white teens drives up. Dave asks them where they are going. They are high school kids on a day trip to learn about Islam at the mosque. That is a problem in itself, but for another day. Dave is more concerned right now about the shared entrance. He asks an armed security guard for the mosque, who explains that it is a shared hallway. The guard then asks Dave to leave. Dave refuses. He is told he is on private property. How can that be? How can a U.S. citizen not have access to a public space like a post office run by the government? A reasonable question. Another armed security guard enters the debate. He is more aggressive; he knows who Dave is and has seen his videos. Dave ignores the calls to leave the premises, noting that other Americans like him are in the parking lot, walking in and out of the post office. Are they also on private property? Dave and Zak enter the post office. They ask the counter clerks for clarification on who owns the building and who is allowed (and not allowed) to park in the spaces. The postal worker calls the police, complaining that Dave and Zak are filming. Dave pushes back, stating that the USPS is filming everything in the counter area, so he has his First Amendment right to do the same. A group of cops shows up. They tell Dave he must leave, that the post office workers and the mosque owners want him to leave. Dave asks why—“What did I do wrong?” No answer is given. After a back-and-forth debate over who has the right to say he is trespassing, the cop gives both Dave and Zak a citation for trespassing. The issuance is valid for one year. I am watching this in total awe. As this unfolds, citizens are walking in and out of the post office, doing nothing different from Dave. The only difference is that Dave has a camera. Not one cop. Not one mosque worker. Not one person can explain to Dave how it is that the USPS is leasing space from a mosque, and as a result he can be banished from the parking lot. Dave asks a great question: What happens when it is 30 below zero, ice on the road, the mosque is in session offering prayer services, the lot is full, and an 80-year-old disabled woman can’t get access to the post office? The answer given: she needs to park in the street and find a way to the front door. As luck would have it, this is all unfolding as a prayer session is starting. The mosque parking lot is getting full. Red cones are placed at the entrance; cars cannot enter. Dave and Zak are told to get off the property or face arrest. The white cops—and they were all white—do nothing to assist Dave. In fact, they make him out to look and sound like some radical right-winger. Dave never cursed. He never raised his voice. He did not insult anyone or their religious beliefs. All he said was that this situation is wrong, that it is the only situation like it in America and maybe the world. And he asks the question: Why? Why is the U.S. government allowing this to happen? Great question. I found the answer, although totally unacceptable. In 2011, the USPS sold the building at 3300 Plymouth Blvd. to the Northwest Islamic Community Center for about $770,000 and leased back the retail post office / PO box space. The mosque has owned the building and the USPS has been a tenant since roughly 2011–2012. The parking lot is private property owned by the Islamic center. Shared use by post office customers is typical in such leases, but the private owner controls access to the lot (which explains the cones during prayer times and the ability to issue trespass orders
