"Force Multipliers": AI is increasingly used as a "force multiplier" for understaffed law enforcement agencies, enabling them to monitor vast amounts of video footage and communication data simultaneously. Targeted Scrutiny: Concerns have been raised that these tools are being used to target specific groups, such as anti-government protesters labeled as "domestic terrorists," by tracking their funding and movements. 2. Corporate Data-Mining and Privacy Private companies are investing heavily in AI that tracks consumer behavior more invasively than before.
