View MoreFrom the Constitution of the United States: 1) "Article II, Section 4: The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." There is no provision in the Constitution to impeach former Presidents or other former office holders. Therefore, this forthcoming Impeachment Trial of former president Donald Trump is unconstitutional and as such amounts to political theater and is nothing more than a sham trial conducted by a Kangaroo Court. If former President Trump really did commit a crime while President, he should be charged in the US Judicial Court system like any other private citizen. But if he was charged, he would be afforded the legal protections of our legal system, and none of the charges against him would even make it through a Grand Jury. 2) "Article I, Section 3, Clause 6 designates the chief justice to preside during presidential impeachment trials in the Senate" The simple fact that Chief Justice Roberts is not presiding over this sham impeachment trial reinforces the notion that is is an extra-legal, unconstitutional proceeding being conducted by politicians intent on shredding the Constitution, destroying the Republic, and converting it into a Banana Republic where anything is legal so long as they are the ones who determine what is legal and what is not legal. 3) "Amendment X, The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." This is very specific. Congress may not create a power/duty/obligation/whatever to impeach a former President. They may only carry out the duties explicitly delegated to them. No other powers are implied nor authorized to Congress. The fact that the Senate is proceeding with this unauthorized sham Impeachment Trial demonstrates that it is now under the control of an unconstitutional Cabal and should be treated as such. Does anyone else see what I see here?
