Florida Teen Sentenced to 45 Years for Strangling Mother Over Bad Grades.Gregory Ramos, who was 15 at the time, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder for strangling his mother, 46-year-old Gail Cleavenger.He confessed to police, saying it took about 30 minutes. He and two friends then buried her body under a fire pit behind a church and staged a fake burglary.
