Men's fashion in 1978 was absolutely out of control, and nobody seemed the least bit embarrassed about it.Platform shoes, skin-tight polyester pants, enormous collars, gold chains, and shirts unbuttoned halfway to the belt.Throw on some Brut or Hai Karate, comb that mustache, and you were ready for Saturday night.Looking back, it's amazing some of those outfits were considered irresistible.But judging by the pictures, they apparently worked pretty well.
