President Trump Could Ban All Lab-Grown Meat Across The U.S. By Executive OrderThe claim is circulating. No order has been signed. Several states have already moved on their own. Florida was first. It pushes fair competition for American ranchers, more interstate sales of traditionally raised meat, and tougher enforcement of the Packers and Stockyards Act. It does not mention lab-grown protein.The states that banned it said they were protecting ranchers and traditional agriculture. The companies say the bans shut out a new product.
