16. Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. 2 Thessalonians 3:16, KJV. This concludes 2 Thessalonian Today's verse, the Lord of peace, this title is found in Judges 6:24, where Gideon built an altar to Jehovah shalom, the Lord of peace, or the Lord our peace; this is true because all true peace comes from God. Jesus, by His death on the cross, made peace for us with God. Now peace here is more than the absence of hostility; this peace covers every area of your life: peace with God, because as sinners we have divine assurance of forgiveness in Christ; health in the body is peace; wholeness in relationships is peace; financial security is peace. Peace in the Bible means that in times of fear, anxiety, or uncertainty, the peace of God is available. The peace of God conveys completeness, safety, well-being, health, prosperity, harmony, and the absence of strife. Jehovah shalom represents God's ability to bring wholeness and tranquility even amid chaos, offering believers spiritual and emotional stability. Practical application for believers: trusting in the Lord of Peace allows individuals to experience inner peace that surpasses all circumstance fostering confidence, courage, and spiritual resilience. Lessons learned: true peace comes from Christ. Christ is our source of peace, calm, and harmony, regardless of circumstances. Amen.
