JACK SMITH MAPPED THE REPUBLICAN PARTY — 639,000 AMERICANS DEEP. Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley revealed on October 14 that Smith's Arctic Frost probe and the Biden Justice Department obtained spreadsheets of Republican donor and voter data covering more than 639,000 people, at minimum.More than 148,000 of them were identified as donors, most giving small-dollar amounts. The files held names, birth dates, home addresses, employers, donation amounts and credit card information, reaching back years and even tracking sales of red MAGA hats down to the buyers' shipping addresses.Grassley says the sweep ran well outside Smith's stated scope and corroborates that the operation was designed to map out the Republican Party itself. The data went to FBI agents.Smith has defended his subpoenas as a criminal investigation. Mapping 639,000 voters and donors is not investigating one man. It is building a file on a movement.
