Twenty-nine percent of Democrats say they are extremely or very proud to be American. For Republicans the number is 90 percent.Twenty-five years ago both parties sat near 87 percent. That is not a policy gap. That is a country gap.They treat the flag like a warning label. Sixty-four percent of Republicans planned to fly it on the Fourth. Twenty-seven percent of Democrats said the same.Eleven percent of Democrats call this the greatest country on earth. Sixty-two percent of Republicans do.Pew found 70 percent of Democrats believe American society is fundamentally racist. Two-thirds of them look at socialism with a smile.They hate the border because a border means a country. They hate the police until they need one.They hate the military unless it is an office for social experiments.They hate the oil and gas that heat their houses and fly their planes.They hate the Electoral College, the Senate, and the Supreme Court the minute those things will not rubber-stamp them.They hate the nuclear family. A Michigan Democrat running this year put it in writing.They hate a man and a woman as the definition of marriage.They hate girls sports the second a boy wants the trophy.They hate churches that will not rewrite the Bible.They hate Israel and find excuses for the people who murder Jews. They hate capitalism, which is the only reason this country can afford their lectures.JD Vance said it at the convention this month. The Democrats are the party of hatred. They despise America and the people who built it.So how do you coexist with people who hate the flag, the family, the law, the border, and the idea that this country is worth keeping?You do not pretend the argument is about tax rates. You do not meet them halfway on a nation they want to gut.You vote them out of power on November 3 and you stop apologizing for loving the place they mock.Can you share a country with people who are ashamed of the flag you fly?
