Amy Jones, 23, walked into Rufus King International High School in Milwaukee and signed in as a substitute. Eight teachers were out that day and one sub slot was still open. Office staff sent her to a fifth-floor classroom.Students told police she split the class by race and gender, used racial slurs, and called white students “white motherf—ers.” A student said she used the N-word. She told detectives she had girls who felt “white passing” stand in one place and the others in another. She called a student “fat boy,” asked a girl if she wanted to be a stripper or a hooker, and told two white students they looked like the type to start a school shooting. Students said she asked who was a virgin, who was gay, and whether anyone had a vape or weed, then bragged about felonies and said jail was fine. Jones told a detective she hates kids, was bored, and “just wanted to f— around.” She also gave a “birds and the bees” talk.
