HYPOCRITES! They promised an exodus. When the votes were counted, the moving trucks never came. The same voices that treated an election like the end of civilization stayed put, kept the contracts, and went back to lecturing everyone else.That is the tell. People who truly believed the country had become unlivable would leave. People who only needed a punchline stayed, because America still funds their careers, protects their property, and lets them say almost anything without consequence.Empty threats are not courage. They are branding. A serious country can survive disagreement. It cannot take seriously those who vow to abandon it and then cash the same checks from the same zip codes. Actions, as always, outlast the monologue.
