Jack Smith’s Senate performance yesterday was not testimony. It was a confession of unrepentant lawfare.He sat there and repeated the same smear: “proof beyond a reasonable doubt” that Trump committed “serious crimes against our nation.” His only regret was that the people who ran his operation got fired. Not the secret gag-order phone-record dragnet on sitting Republican senators. Not the 197 subpoenas and the hunt across hundreds of GOP targets. He called that “standard.” Grassley said there was no legitimate basis. Cruz said it was the most egregious abuse of power in DOJ history—worse than Nixon. Kennedy said it made him want to throw up. They were being polite.This was never a prosecution. It was a political hit squad using federal power to map, intimidate, and kneecap one side of the American electorate. Irregular oaths. Paid sources. Garbage witnesses. Arctic Frost. Cases that collapsed the moment voters rendered their verdict. Smith still talks like the country owes him an apology.He belongs in the same sewer as James Comey: self-anointed moralists who treat the Constitution as optional when the target is Trump, leak and stretch and weaponize, then wrap themselves in “the rule of law” after the wreckage. Comey used cut-outs and family cover and launched probes that treated a lawful firing as treason. Smith took the same contempt for equal justice and industrialised it. Both are anti-American scum who degraded the Department of Justice into a partisan club. Both should be remembered that way.The receipts are public. The disgrace is complete.
