The cartoon asks the old question. How could the people choose a murderer over an innocent man?Two thousand years ago a crowd stood in front of Pontius Pilate and demanded Barabbas. They let a killer walk and sent an innocent man to the cross.Apparently some things never change.Our culture, thanks to influence from the left, now idolizes murderers and treats their victims like an afterthought. Lindsay Clancy, Karmelo Anthony, Luigi Mangione, and Tyler Robinson are just some of the recent examples.On January 24, 2023, Lindsay Clancy sent her husband out for takeout in Duxbury, Massachusetts. Then she strangled their children with exercise bands.Cora was 5, Dawson was 3, and Callan was 8 months old. Hundreds of women later stood outside her murder trial in pink shirts.They sold Team Lindsay shirts. Almost nobody wore a button with those children's faces.On April 2, 2025, Karmelo Anthony stabbed 17-year-old Austin Metcalf in the chest at a high school track meet in Frisco, Texas. Austin died in his twin brother's arms.A jury convicted Anthony of murder and gave him 35 years. A lot of people still wanted to call it self-defense and make Austin the problem.On December 4, 2024, Luigi Mangione walked up behind Brian Thompson on a Manhattan sidewalk and shot him. Thompson was 50. He was a father of two boys.Crowds showed up at court in Free Luigi shirts and treated a killer like a hero.On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck at Utah Valley University in front of thousands of students. He was 31. He left a wife and two children.Tyler Robinson is charged with the murder. Some teachers and professors treated the assassination like a joke.This is a sick phenomenon. A country that cheers for the man with the knife, and forgets the child on the basement floor, cannot last like this.These attitudes have to be stamped out. If they are not, we will see more of it. That is the consequence.Would you let someone who cheers for a killer sit at your Sunday table?
