The cartoon says it plain. If Christians stay out of politics, the decisions get made by people who think God is irrelevant and the truth of God's Word does not exist.Rev. Sarah Hobbs proved the point at Love Wins 26. She read Matthew 7:9, where Jesus asks what father would give his son a stone when the boy asked for bread.Then she said she had begged God for 25 years to be released from being transgender. She decided the identity was the bread and the shame was the stone. So she transitioned.That is not how that verse reads. Jesus was talking about a Father who gives good gifts. He was not rewriting the body God made.We cannot be apolitical. This country was founded on Christian values. Those values are under attack.Most Democrats laugh in the face of them. They believe man can decide who lives and who dies. They believe man can decide what gender a person is.That is the lie the devil whispers and then screams.They govern through shame. They wrap it in a story about fairness.Their party is their religion. They will jump in bed with anyone they think can keep that religion standing, including socialists who will bring the whole house down.They are turning their backs on Israel. They push Islam as if it were just another Sunday option. They treat violence as a reasonable answer when someone disagrees.They profess love. They operate from hate.If the church sits this out, those are the people filling the chairs. They will write the laws. They will teach the children.They will tell you God's Word is optional and your conscience is the problem.A Bible on the table and a ballot next to it is not a contradiction. It is obedience.The people who think God is irrelevant already vote. They already preach. They already legislate.Sitting it out is not holiness. It is a vacancy they will fill.If the people who fear God stay home, who writes the next law?
