Israel has delivered more humanitarian aid to an enemy population during active wartime than any army in modern history. That fact should end the conversation. It rarely does. No other military has moved food, fuel, medicine, and water into territory still held by the force that murdered its civilians while that force still fires, still holds hostages, and still vows to repeat the massacre. The United States did not feed ISIS-held Mosul mid-battle. Britain did not supply the IRA’s neighborhoods while the bombs were going off. Israel has. Go ahead and argue about distribution, Hamas theft, or UN failure. But do not pretend the volume and the circumstance have a precedent.
