3. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1 celebrates the spiritual riches believers possess in Christ. God chose believers, adopted them into His family, redeemed them through Christ's blood, forgave their sins, and sealed them with the Holy Spirit. Paul then prays that believers will understand the hope, inheritance, and power that belong to them through Christ. The chapter concludes by declaring the supreme authority of Jesus Christ, who is head over all things and head of the church. A practical application is to remember how blessed you are in Christ. Live as God's adopted child and rest in His forgiveness. Trust God's plan, depend on His power, and seek spiritual wisdom. The lesson learned is that every spiritual blessing comes from Christ. Redemption and forgiveness are found only because of Christ's blood. The Almighty Father chose and adopted believers into His family because of His Son, Jesus. God's plan is centered on Christ. The Holy Spirit seals and secures the believers' inheritance of eternal life. Amen.
