18. Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. Galatians 6:18; KJV. Paul ends his letter to the Galatians by teaching believers to restore those who have fallen in meekness, for all have sinned. Believers need to help each other and should examine themselves rather than comparing themselves to others. Paul uses an agricultural metaphor of planting and harvest; if you plant tomatoes, you will not get potatoes. In life, if you are feeding the flesh, you will harvest no spiritual blessing and will be in danger of judgment. Do not get tired of doing good. Paul concludes that being Jew or Gentile matters not; becoming a new creature in Christ is the most valuable thing. We come to today's verse, where Paul ends Galatians with a blessing of grace. In practical application, today's choices become tomorrow's consequence The lessons learned are: spiritual people restore the fallen; every action plants a seed, and we will harvest what we plant; Christian faith produces goodness; and salvation creates a new person submitted to Christ Jesus. Amen.
