The government cannot even stop a telemarketer.Sometimes a picture says it all.Criminals are cowards. They play the odds. That is why they pick defenseless targets. They love a gun free zone. The sign tells them nobody inside is allowed to shoot back.They pick the church, the school, the store that put the poster on the door. They do not pick the place where the first person they meet might end the attack.The truth is simple. Only a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun. Waiting for a squad car is not a plan. Seconds matter. The killer or robber does not wait.Leftists say only the police should have guns. Then they want the police defunded. Then they go nuts every time a cop shoots someone.On December 10, 2020, the Minneapolis City Council voted to pull about $8 million out of the police budget. Same city. Same year they told you cops were the problem and private citizens should stay disarmed.You cannot have it both ways. You cannot strip the officer and strip the citizen and then act shocked when the coward walks into a building that was advertised as helpless.More guns in the hands of law-abiding people means less crime. Predators count the risk. An armed neighbor changes the risk. An empty holster and a poster do not.The Second Amendment was not written so you could wait on hold. It was written because the government is not your bodyguard and because we have a God given right to self-defense. If they cannot keep a robocall off your phone, they are not going to be there when the glass breaks.If the government cannot stop a telemarketer, why would you hand them the only thing that can stop a killer or a burglar?
